This person will lead Serotiny’s efforts to invent novel high-throughput immunological assays for developing cell therapies.
Serotiny's infrastructure is a design/build/test loop that couples a finely tuned software architecture with wet-lab mammalian synthetic biology to engineer and characterize massive libraries of candidate therapeutics.
Serotiny is looking for immunologists who are excited to develop high-throughput methods to characterize and develop cutting edge therapies for immuno-oncology.
Design and evaluate novel immunologically relevant assays
Oversee primary cell manipulation and handling
Efficiently identify and evaluate assays used in scientific literature
Design experiments to test the functionality of novel proteins in mammalian systems
Collaborate with software engineers to develop the design and analysis methodologies and pipeline
Manage an immunology lab
Direct the characterization and analysis of therapeutic candidates
Ph.D. in immunology or Ph.D. with equivalent experience in synthetic biology or molecular biology
Direct experience engineering novel Chimeric Antigen Receptors
Expertise in mammalian synthetic biology
Desire to manage a lab
Flexibility and desire to work at the early stages of a startup
Direct experience with Primary Cells
