Sale Representative- West Region

AOC is currently seeking a Sales Representative – West Region. The Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and service of AOC products to the established customer base and selected target accounts within the geographic territory assigned. As the customer's representative, the Sales Representative must insure that their needs are accurately presented to promote customer satisfaction and optimum profitability for AOC.
Our sales representatives work independently across an assigned region and report to a Regional Sales Manager. We are seeking an individual who has prior knowledge of the chemical composition and manufacturing processes available to produce unsaturated polyester resins, knowledge of all types of molding products and processes and understands the performance characteristics associated with each chemical ingredient used in polyester resin.
Majority of the markets you will be selling into will be Marine, Bath Tub, Polymer Concrete and cultured marble markets. You will be covering a territory consisting of WA, OR, UT, & ID. In Canada; British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta. You will be handling an already established customer base within this territory while being responsible for new business development.
MUST live in the Pacific Northwest (we will consider relocation to PNW)
5+ years sales experience within the Plastics/Polymers/Composites Industry
Required exposure to resin or composite materials
Preferred exposure to open & closed molding
Willing to travel up to 75%
Candidates should understand both direct and distributions channels and possess the business acumen to manage a business plan and possess the ability to provide analysis of market intelligence to determine market share. Highly qualified candidates should have prior experience in determining competitive pricing as it relates to commercial offerings, competitor pricing and securing and maintaining new and existing customers.
AOC Sales Representatives provide best in class customer service by determining best service model, providing knowledge of supply and price trends and fielding complaints or service concerns to the appropriate corporate department.
