The Technical Architect will have these skills:
Leverages in-depth knowledge, experience and insight to address client's business issues (which may include client, industry or technology related pressures) with cognitive solutions that improve the client's return on investment.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the selected business solution, the IBM capabilities that surround this solution and the value the solution can bring to our client’s business issues.
Must be hands-on in approach to technology. This includes unstructured data, statistical extraction of entities, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and search.
Solutions must be designed to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsible for leading client workshops, defining use cases and creating demonstrations to adapt cognitive technology for use in the client environment.
Define, plan and deliver natural language processing enhancements within the cognitive system.
May also be responsible for participating in business development activities.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Experience defining concept of operations, architecture diagrams, bill of materials, detailed specifications, requirements, and descriptions, and implementation plans
5-7+ years experience developing solution architectures and implementations
Hands-on experience with Watson API, Watson Explorer (WEX) and Database/SQL
Object oriented programming skills
Web Services, SOAP, XML, REST, Responsive Design, DevOps, Micro-services Architecture & Cloud Technologies
Work with Engineering team to assist with new feature requirements and provide feedback from customers on current features and potential enhancements.
Create knowledge articles around the IBM products for use with customers and partners
Desire to learn and contribute to cognitive practice area outside of role
Ability to work with limited direct supervision in an unstructured environment
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
TS/SCI with Poly Clearance
Specific experience planning, designing, and specifying for pricing and implementation of infrastructure in IBM
SmartCloud for Government, as well as IBM and other commercial cloud environments.
