The Work You'll Do
As a senior member of the Global Alliance Sales team, consistently deliver new revenues and meet agreed bookings quotas by selling with and through strategic partners
Develop and execute a detailed territory plan to maximize partner-driven sales opportunities
Grow and manage a quality pipeline of new strategic partners
Nurture and improve working relationships with and business contributions from the existing/assigned partners
Based on primary & secondary market research data, build and/or refine strategies for expanding market reach and accelerating market penetration through Alliances
Actively engage with existing & new partners to enhance awareness about Sovos’ global Tax Compliance and Business-to-Government Reporting solutions
Build strong relationships and robust cadence with partners’ direct & indirect sales channels to identify new market/client opportunities
Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to drive consistent productivity against agreed KPIs
Educate and mobilize internal business partners to support key Alliance Sales objectives
Act with utmost integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters involving key stakeholders
Model the way for all other Global Alliance Sales team members by demonstrating unmatched initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth
What We Need From You
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education & experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, channel sales, channel marketing or business development
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Experience selling SaaS solution preferred
Successful track record of selling to large enterprises, managing complex sales cycles and interacting with senior executives
Self-motivated team player who has a strong drive to exceed goals
Willingness to travel up to 50% for partner meetings, trade shows and special projects
