The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for delivering facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting networks, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. This position will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Corporate Recruiter should build networks to find qualified candidates to fill open positions effectively and efficiently. This position should network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees, as well as coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives to develop a pool of qualified candidates to fill current open positions and build a pool of candidates in advance of need. This position will use social media and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates, as well as network and document where to find ideal candidates.
Work with program managers and the business development team to determine upcoming open positions and the exact needs of each position to be filled. Responsible for creating job descriptions, posting openings on the STI website, social media sites, with professional organizations and in other position appropriate venues. In addition to posting positions, the recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates. This position will need to be able to work under tight deadlines and multi-task priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as execute decision making ability with limited oversight.
Must also maintain ongoing communication with all potential candidates from the proposal development process throughout the transition process. Must be able to identify and source key personnel and qualified technical talent to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need, as well as research and recommend new sources for passive candidate recruiting.
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, and source new candidate leads. Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates. Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition. Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.
Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and conduct initial pre-screening interviews, as well as assist in performing reference checks for potential employees. Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters. Assist in interviewing and selecting the most qualified candidates.
Ensure that all pertinent applicant and interview data is maintained in the Database.
