Location: Freehold, NJ – local candidates only (remote work is not an option)

The Recruiter will focus his or her energy on expanding our executive search division. This person will be a direct contributor to our overall business and serve as a key asset to the continual development of our agency.
The Recruiter will be responsible for assisting in all executive search functions for Prodigy Search including, but not limited to, the following:
Creation and delivery of correspondence, candidate profiles and status reports to client.
Maintaining internal candidate CRM database system.
Write complete and detailed search assignments (client engagement documents), ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements.
Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Interview all candidates presented in detailed discussions and include the use of phone, Skype and face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies, as appropriate.
Perform detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with leadership and agency’s clients, as assigned.
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Daily canvassing of the sports and entertainment industry – and other related and applicable industries – for prospective new clients and candidates.
Develop strategies to increase the awareness, market presence and eventual out-growth of Prodigy Search’s executive search division.
Participate in meetings and executing assignments, as necessary, with other divisions within Prodigy Search.
Any other tasks, as assigned by senior management to support the overall goals of this company.
EXPERIENCE AND COMPENTENCIES
Must have a solid understanding and extensive relationships within the sports and entertainment industry as well as key personnel associated with such organizations.
Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably Bullhorn.
Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive management team.
Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of senior level executives.
Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
Ability to travel as required.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases and multitude of social networking sites.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in executive recruiting.
Experience within the sports and entertainment industry would be a bonus.
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, preferably in business, human resources, psychology, sociology, or related fields.
Tremendous work ethic and a passionate interest in pursuing a career in recruiting/human resources.
Superior phone skills, interviewing skills, and excellent people person.
Ability to network, prospect candidates, and thoroughly vet leads
Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
Highly organized and regimented with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
