This full time position is responsible for the timely and complete processing of all Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) accounts payable needs.
Organizes incoming expense reports, invoices, check requests and other billing statements for approval and payment. Codes expenses to corresponding general ledger expense accounts.
Processes weekly checks for signature, filing and mailing. Follows up on outstanding paperwork, questions and discrepancies.
Manages 1099 reporting process including the facilitation of gathering Forms W-9 for all vendors to submit to accounting firm.
Identifying and maintaining fixed asset ledgers to be reviewed by the Assistant Director of Finance quarterly.
Generates various accounts payable reports. Maintains open invoices and outstanding checks. Balances and reconciles all accounts payable accounts on a monthly basis.
Maintain and reconciles intercompany accounts on a monthly basis. Prepare quarterly intercompany reports for quarter-end close process.
Create check requests and obtain appropriate approval to clear outstanding intercompany account balances on a monthly basis.
Works with Accounts Receivable Specialist on a monthly basis to bill appropriate charges for shared expenses among related and non-related organizations.
Maintains offsite storage inventory and makes arrangements for documents to be sent to or retrieved from storage.
Assists in preparing reports for month end and year-end close.

Reports directly to FHC Assistant Director of Finance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study with a minimum two years’ experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
