We are seeking an ongoing paid Administrative Assistant Intern to join the Schreiber team for 12-18 months to get hands-on work and key learning applications within our administrative team. In this Rotation Program, you will get experience supporting multiple different departments within the company to help gain exposure and understanding of the business.
What you'll do:
Supporting multiple business areas to get a strong understanding of the business.
Be the example and role model of our culture to our partners, customers and suppliers. Anticipate needs of our customers/partners/teams/suppliers with a natural willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
Plan, coordinate and organize meetings and activities of all sizes and complexities to ensure productive and successful results.
Assist with event planning to include coordination of venue, logistics, meal selections, invitations, response tracking, program scheduling, budget/cost analysis and on-site event management/participation.
Arrange complex travel arrangements for multiple travelers on domestic and international flights with coordination of all related hotel and ground transportation.
Monitor dashboards with key performance metrics. Develop presentations, spreadsheets and reports to help department/team members convey information in an attractive and easy-to-comprehend format
Manage document storage processes, to allow partners to access information on a timely basis to meet deadlines and requirements. Maintain department files and documentation in electronic and/or paper formats.
Assist as needed with ordering office supplies and packaging/shipping/mailing of materials for department/team.
Assist with Recognition Program within area of business with tracking and quarterly reporting.
Manage inventory for life event gifts.
What you need to succeed:
Pursuing Associates degree in Administrative Professional with 12-18 months left of the program
Ability to work year-round
Effective time management
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote
Questions status quo-looks and identifies how processes can be done differently
