Job Description:
The primary focus of this role will be to lead a global team to effectively manage and support the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle and to develop the best & final process for treasury solutions, including liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain, foreign exchange and commercial card. This role will partner closely with and support the Treasury Sales Managers as well as support multi-region/global opportunities.

The Proposal Manager is responsible for administering proposal processes, ensuring configuration management and compliance, providing guidance and assistance to authors, administering proposal related resources, preparing proposal related reports, etc. Tasks managed include Requests for Proposal (RFP) Analysis, Kick-Off Meetings, Status Calls, Proposal Development, Proposal Writing, Color Reviews, Proposal Production, etc. The Proposal Manager may also be called upon to assist in the preparation of responses to Requests for Information and other marketing assignments as well as working with sales team to ensure that the RFP response differentiates the Bank from the competition, meets the client’s needs in terms of solution, is in compliance with the client requirements, addresses all the RFP questions and completed within the required deadline.

The role involves developing presentation material for any pitch or best and final which follows the issuance of the RFP. The Proposal Manager plays a critical role in the development of 100% compliant, compelling, and winning proposals. They will leverage their thorough understanding of and excellence in the activities of the entire proposal process from pre-RFP through customer award debriefs.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading a global team, facilitating and leading Deal Teams through the response process, including: solution and strategy identification, SME coordination, project plan ownership, template and response customization, and delivery/execution of final response.
Composing original proposals that differentiate and position solutions that address stated Client needs/requirements.
Managing the production and delivery of the final documents and supplemental materials in accordance with Client requirements.
Continue to support the deal as it progresses to a pitch or best and final stage through the delivery of impactful presentations that are consistent to the earlier proposal.
Completing deal and month-end routines (database Q&A updates, properly transitioning deals, win/loss tracking, and feedback survey follow-up).
Reporting out on deal process effectiveness, win/loss insights, competitive insights and best practices to sales leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong leadership and people management skills
Possess strong written communications skills with ability to target to audience, with thorough command of grammar and writing techniques
Experience and knowledge of treasury management products and services
Ability to quickly assimilate new information regarding specific product and technical topics
Proven ability to lead and influence business partners to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Ability and experience working with and incorporating graphics and visual elements
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development of large, complex bank proposal
Skilled in proposal management, coordination, and production
Skilled in desktop publishing and formatting as well as strong analytical skills with solid administrative experience & proven leadership abilities
Excellent people skills - able to work with teams of varying sizes, technical abilities, and levels of authority with both internal corporate staff and teammates
Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
Excellent multi-tasking abilities – Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
