Southern Air is looking for qualified candidates to join our growing team of pilots. Qualified candidates will enjoy a home based position with all expenses paid airline travel to and from their base, a chance to see the world with our exciting international schedule, 401K matching and world class health benefits. 777 First Officers / Pilots enjoy a 20 on 10 off schedule that includes travel to and from their home and top international destinations such as Hong Kong, Germany and the Middle East, gaining experience that would take years to obtain as traditional passenger carriers. Southern Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings that provides scheduled service cargo utilizing their fleet of Boeing 737’s and Boeing 777's.

Flight Time Requirements

Minimum of 2000 hours of total time


1500 TT and a Graduate of a 141, 142, or a US Military Training Program and holds an SIC/PIC Type Rating in a Turbojet Aircraft


A minimum of 500 hours Turbine

FAA Requirements

FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate

Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate

FCC Radio License

General Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Current passport holder with no restrictions on international travel

Has the ability to pass a 10 year security background check and a DOT pre-employment drug test
