Each of our 173 individually-designed rooms and suites is unique, with one-of-a-kind elements courtesy of the renowned Savannah College of Art & Design. And while no two rooms are alike, they all guarantee light-filled mornings, gleaming hardwood floors, and custom amenities.
The Guest Experience/Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, and closing out guest accounts upon completion of stay to meet the hotel's standards of quality. This position reports to the Guest Experience/Front Office Manager.

Enthusiastically welcome our guests, anticipate their needs, assist them with check in and check out, and respond promptly with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of day.
Verify and accurately imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Perform accurate, moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Plan and implement detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and team members.
Take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty.
Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at home.
Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests’ needs are being met
Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Must be able to lift, push and/or pull 25 – 50 lbs.
Must be able to spend the majority of the day standing, walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and/or kneeling
Strong attention to detail required
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Previous front office experience preferred
Must be flexible in hours and days available to work
