**Essential Functions** :
The Global Payments Operations Leader will be responsible for leadership, governance and execution of the disbursement strategy for BHGE. This role will lead a team responsible for payments as well as manual payments globally. The Global Payments Operations Leader will also lead the wing-to-wing execution and management of payments process including manual disbursements and in conjunction with Treasury & DT functionally own the implementation of FIS Trax across BHGE & migration from Webcash and MyPayments.
**Key responsibilities for the Director include the following:**
+ Lead disbursements process, project initiatives and team ensuring best in class disbursement processes globally.
+ Own payment processes and modifications/enhancements to payment program logic
+ Lead payment execution and cash controls in partnership with treasury and businesses SLAs
+ Harmonization of payment operations across Apex, Non Apex and OFS
+ Collaborate with DT, treasury with implementation support teams, including the coordination of testing, review/approval of test results and rifle shot payments and banking setup verifications.
+ Responsible for critical and key KPI to include cost, On time invoice payment, processing accuracy, quality & productivity
+ Maintain repository of documentation requirements for various payment exceptions across the region along with Controllership team
+ Partner with Treasury to setup Bank accounts & associated services for payment execution
+ Establish & manage the manual payment approval delegation matrix
+ Partner with Treasury to ensure standardization of process across the globe
+ Define country specific supplier banking requirements and collaborate with across APCOE to verify that banking setups are compliant
+ Identify, manage and lead process improvement, standardization and simplification projects to improve payment processes, controls, or pay metrics, partnering with other stakeholders
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or Operations
+ A minimum of 5 years of business experience in corporate treasury, payments, operations or banking
+ Demonstrated team leadership capabilities
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
+ Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances. Able to work in ambiguous situations.
+ Experience in a matrix and global environment preferred.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact cross functionally
+ Strong understanding of SAP and/or Oracle supplier maintenance, purchasing and invoice screens
