Job Summary
The lead installer is a key member of the American Eagle Welding team and is accountable for the successful installation of multiple projects. The lead installer leads their team of installers in a way that meets or exceeds all project deadlines with superior results.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work 10 hour work shifts
- Pass a basic math test
- Able to bend, twist, at frequent or infrequent intervals
- Lifting up to 95 lbs
- Load and unload trailers and trucks
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Interpret drawings to install customer specifications
- Excellent mechanical and mathematical skill
Work Conditions
- Ability to work outside in fluctuation temperatures in all seasons
- Ability to work in areas with space constraints
- Must be able to ride in company vehicle for up to three hours at a time
Essential Functions
- Lead, manage, and hold installation teams accountable for project deadlines
- Meet of exceed customer expectations
- Train installers as required
- Correctly interpret drawings for installations
Authorities and Responsibilities
- Discipline installers as needed
- Ensure powder coating meets or exceeds requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrating good judgment and decision making
- Ensure daily checklists are signed off and turned in
- Ensure punch list is filled our and signed off by customer
- Collect the outstanding receivables
- Customer communication, both written and oral
- Seeking guidance as necessary on projects for the performance of duties
- Keeping the owners informed of project progress
- Offering suggestions and implementing solutions to problems that arise
- Respecting confidentiality of company, customer, and vendor information
- Maximizing time
- Ability to tactfully handle difficult situations
- Take initiative
- Recognize and understand priorities
- Work with minimal supervision
- Training other installers as necessary
- Ensure job sheets are filled out timely and accurately
- Other duties as assigned from owners

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
