About the Job

MatPLUS is looking to add to our growing company and are seeking a high-energy, service-oriented inside salesperson for our Painesville Ohio location. If you are personable and have excellent phone and computer skills, we want your help developing new customers and keeping our existing customer base happy. This individual will be tasked to maintain strong relationships with our existing customers in their assigned territory and expand that areas growth by developing new business. Training will be provided that will enhance your existing knowledge in sales and sharpen your sales skills related to our market and the products\services our company offers. This is a full-time position where you will be expected to achieve monthly\yearly sales goals.

Major responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Generating formal price quotes for customers while staying within price guidelines.
  • Meeting a set daily amount of calls and orders closed resulting from those calls.
  • Consulting with management to assess proper product selections and special pricing as needed.
  • Providing customer service and technical support to customers on product they purchase from you.
  • Manage all aspects of a customer’s needs thru the sales process including returns, credits, errors, etc.
  • Collaborate with other Sales Representatives to support the sales team and company as a whole.
  • Travel to and attend industry related trade shows as needed or assigned by management.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Prior two years of inside sales or equivalent sales experience.
  • An engaging personality and strong phone presence is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in a variety office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP, etc.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks.

Compensation & Benefits:

The person we choose will enjoy a competitive starting base salary then move to an aggressive commission plan with bonus options. The income potential builds steadily and residually as the territory grows, so there is no income cap. We also provide an excellent benefits package, including 401k, paid holidays and vacation days.

Salary: $35,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
