$5000 Sign on Bonus for all RN’s
Full Time position with Benefits (72 hours/pay period)
Baylor Shift available for qualified applicant
The Registered Staff Nurse assumes professional nursing responsibility and accountability within a designated time frame for the care and treatment of assigned patients. He/she prescribes nursing care utilizing the nursing process in the development of nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, delegates nursing care based on the competency of team members, coordinates care utilizing available resources and the environment. Interacts with other health care team members and/or disciplines in accordance with standard nursing practice and Henry County Medical Center policies. Primary care of behavioral health patients on Geri or Adult Psych unit.
Minimum Education/Training Graduate of Accredited Registered Nursing Program.
Registered Nurse licensed in Tennessee.
BLS: All Clinical RN’s:
Employee must obtain Basic Life support (BLS) Certification with 6 months of hire date and maintain continuous certification throughout their employment. Failure to maintain certification may result in corrective action.
ACLS:Designated Charge RNs, Emergency Department RNs, Critical Care RNs, Women’s Center RNs, Operating Room RNs, Recovery Room RNs, Ambulatory Surgery RNs
Employee must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within 9 months of hire date and maintain continuous certification throughout their employment.
2 years in Psychiatric experience preferred.
Sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting 50 lbs., walking 3 miles per shift, pushing 300 lbs. Must have full use of both upper (to include hands/fingers) and lower extremities. Must be able to see with corrective eyewear. Must be able to hear with assistive device.
