Position: Interim Health Information Management (HIM) Director
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of HIM leadership/management experience
Strong knowledge of medical records, coding, and healthcare regulations
Critical Access Hospital or rural hospital experience preferred
Experience with Meditech preferred
Ability to work independently and provide hands-on leadership
Responsibilities:
Oversee HIM operations and medical records management
Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met
Manage coding processes and data integrity initiatives
Provide leadership and support to HIM staff
Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve HIM performance
Support documentation, coding, and revenue cycle processes
