Position Overview:
As an HR Generalist at Murgado Automotive Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. You will be instrumental in ensuring a positive employee experience and promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating orientation programs.
Manage employee relations by addressing and resolving employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar HR capacity.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
