Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Break down complicated systems into individual pieces to improve productivity
  • Process Development/Tool Design- Visualize improvement opportunities and convert these into processes that meet aerospace quality standards.
  • Project Management- With assistance from the Engineering Manager, determine justification, develop project schedules and identify opportunities and risks associated with ideas. Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage risk.
  • Technical Writing- Prepare technical specifications and other documents that can be used to procure technical services and products or work instructions.
  • 2nd shift with up to 10% travel
Level of Responsibility:
  • Responsible for projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline
  • Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline
  • Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus
  • Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role—continuing to develop specialized knowledge
To be successful in this position, you should have the following experience:

Qualification: Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidate should be familiar with mechanical design, pneumatics/hydraulic, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer
  • Knowledge/Experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Knowledge/Experience with continuous improvement tools, Six Sigma, ACE, etc.
  • Previous Project Management experience

Education: Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering minimum 5+ years of experience OR
  • Master’s degree in Engineering minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
