LGC provides a range of measurement products and services which underpin the safety, health and security of the public, including reference materials and proficiency testing, genomics solutions, services and instrumentation, and expert sample analysis and interpretation. Our customers are across a number of end markets including Pharmaceuticals, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food, Environment, Government and Academia.

Job purpose:

As an integral member of the Program Management team, the purpose of this role is to provide support to verify requirements are met by clients seeking program membership, to ensure active Members remain in compliance and to engage in administration of the Informed-Sport and Informed-Choice Programs for LGC Sport and Specialized Analytical Services (SSAS).

Key accountabilities

  • Ensure completion of requirements by clients seeking program certification
  • As part of a team, monitor and maintain the certification process
  • Assist in the ongoing management of all certified products, raw materials and sites
  • Ensure program compliance against specifications and requirements
  • Contribute to report preparation and site audits
  • Track blind sampling and ensure samples are appropriately purchased and submitted
  • Ensure traceability of records. Organize and maintain documents in a CRM database (Salesforce).
  • Role may involve travel

Required knowledge, experience and technical skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in science, business or related field
  • Ability to write, read, comprehend, and speak English
  • Broad IT competence

  • Scientific qualification
