Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Orlando, FL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across multiple properties. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence in maintaining our properties. A company vehicle and tools will be provided. The candidate must also be available for on-call duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide prompt solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Travel between properties in the Orlando area as needed to provide maintenance support.
- Be available for on-call duties to address urgent maintenance issues outside regular working hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role in commercial real estate.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Availability to be on-call as needed.
