Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and possess a diverse skill set to excel in this role. As a Drone Technician specializing in quality control, you will play a critical role in assessing returned drones, diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring that each unit meets our stringent quality standards before being reintroduced to the market. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of returned drones to identify defects, damage, or malfunctions.
- Perform diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of issues and assess repair or refurbishment needs.
- Execute repairs and maintenance on various drone models, ensuring functionality and compliance with company standards.
- Document inspection results, repairs performed, and any parts replaced in the company database.
- Stay updated on evolving drone technology and industry standards to enhance quality control processes.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new team members on quality control protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, or related field preferred.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven experience working with drones or similar electronic devices, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of drone components, functionality, and software systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for drones.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
