Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide essential assistance to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in need of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient observation and provide necessary assistance
- Assist with long-term care activities as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Provide catheter care when required
- Maintain medical records and update patient charts
- Offer specialized dementia care support
- Assist patients with lifting and mobility
- Administer CPR if needed
- Deliver exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
Experience
- Previous employment as a Home Health Aide or in a related healthcare role is preferred
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- Ability to handle various patient needs with patience and understanding
- Certification in CPR is a plus
