Our Returnship Program is designed to welcome back experienced finance professionals who have voluntarily taken a step away from the workforce for more than two years, potentially due to raising a family or taking care of a parent. Our Returnship program is a unique opportunity to learn new skills and sharpen others. All positions have up to a six-month duration. Upon successful completion of the program, a full-time employment offer could be made.
This is a great opportunity for participants to confidently leverage their skills in a supportive environment.
The Returnship program offers professionals a challenging, work experience and a finance-specific project for up to a six-month period. Professionals will also be given normal day-to-day responsibilities in their department to allow them to experience the work and assess their interest in Dana. In addition, senior-level mentors will be assigned to the professional. At the end of the internship, candidates will have the opportunity to apply for full-time roles.
Planning and executing the project given for the internship.
Preparing and presenting the final report out of the project.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Accounting or finance preferred
3 years or more of professional finance work experience
Interest in returning to the workforce full-time
Currently on a Finance career break of at least 2 years
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy
Ability to learn and build computer proficiency using the full MSOffice Suite as well as job-specific applications
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadline
Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner and the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Uncompromising judgment towards confidentiality & business ethics
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
