Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Assemble and install various fixtures, cabinets, and trim carpentry
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete carpentry tasks
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other construction professionals
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including cabinet installation, fixture installation, framing and trim carpentry
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry work
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team
