This position has a semi-set set schedule but also an "on-call" requirement.
The position is the direct assistant to the President & Owner of a large franchise company in the DMV.
This position is looking for someone bright, helpful, organized, have a sense of humor, are a problem solver, have a sense of urgency, cheerful and confident.

- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Performing minor accounting duties
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
- Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
- Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
- Critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with excel/google sheets/powerpoint/google slides
- Consistently Positive and up-beat attitude even under the most stressful circumstance
- Managing correspondance between owners and team when owners are away
- Putting together digital design presentations and budgets for clients
- Communicating and scheduling clients, vendors & contractors
- Assistance with design project installations
- Purchasing
- Packing and shipping of materials
- Ordering samples
- Errands as needed
- Scheduling Travel
Requirements
- Ability to Travel on Occasion
- Valid Drivers License
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug screening

- Previous job experience as an administrative, personal or executive assistant
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly Proficient in MS Office. An extremely high understanding of Excel is required.
