CLASS Consultant - DALLAS

Teachstone is creating training and coaching hubs across the country as our regional events, locally hosted trainings, and client onsite training business grows. We are seeking certified CLASS trainers to become CLASS Consultants on behalf of Teachstone. CLASS Consultants will conduct CLASS trainings, CLASS live observations and/or CLASS related learning and coaching support on an as needed basis. CLASS Consultants must be already trained to deliver CLASS Observation training in at least one age level, with a commitment to quickly learn additional trainings. CLASS Consultants must maintain their CLASS certification for the duration of their employment and will be required to complete ongoing onboarding to new trainings and CLASS calibrations as required by professional services leadership team.

***PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A CONTRACT, PART-TIME POSITION***

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver CLASS Observation and Introduction training
  • On-board to additional CLASS measurement and improvement trainings/services
as assigned by professional services team
  • Complete all pre and post-training responsibilities as defined by professional services staff
  • Follow outlined onboarding procedures to learn new trainings/services
  • Achieve and maintain reliability for all CLASS age-levels assigned
Availability:
  • Commitment to regional travel
  • Availability to train approximately 1-2 times a month
  • Attend monthly consultant and on-boarding meetings
Qualifications:
  • Current CLASS Affiliate Trainer Certified (at least one age level)
  • Demonstrated proficiency using the CLASS to observe and code classrooms
and lead CLASS Training Programs
  • Be observed by a Teachstone Professional Services team member
  • Exemplary organization, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Education degree (master’s degree or higher preferred)
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to interest and inspire others
  • Adept use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite applications and use
of video and multimedia presentation tools
  • Knowledge of current trends in early-childhood education research and practice
  • Ease in delivering professional development programs
  • Willingness to travel regionally
