This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the vendor management processes.

ESSENTIAL VENDOR COORDINATER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain vendor data detailing the status of subcontractor onboarding and communicate data to applicable parties
Assist with identification and investigation of appropriate potential vendors using selection criteria based on specific business needs
Compile and distribute required packets to potential subcontractors and manage the executed return of packets
Assist the Risk department with the collection of subcontractor insurance and contract documentation
Contact and maintain communication with potential and new subcontractors to discuss work opportunities
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, plus 1-2 years of administration experience and/or training in the telecommunications industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.

USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software). Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

PUBLIC CONTACT
Regular contacts with patrons, either within the office or in the field. May also involve occasional self-initiated contacts to patrons. Lack of tact and judgment may result in a limited type of problem for the organization.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to sit, talk or hear; regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
