The Post Doctoral Fellow I works with the Principal Investigator in the development, implementation, analysis and publication of scientific and/or clinical research protocols. This is a training position.
Essential Accountabilities include assisting the Principal Investigator in the development of investigator- initiated research studies when required. The incumbent will read the scientific and/or clinical literature to assess analytic trends and current methods pertinent to the research. The Fellow must think and work independently regarding experimental and/or clinical research protocols and the methods/processes used to achieve the research goals. The role prepares and presents results of research internally and at national/international meetings in collaboration with the Principal Investigator. This role complies with and actively participates in the LIMR postdoctoral training program.
This position is full time.
Education: Ph.D. degree in biological sciences, or MD required.
Licensures & Certifications: None.
Experience: Successful completion of research leading to Ph.D. thesis, or relevant laboratory and/or clinical research experience
