POSITION SUMMARY:
Work under the direction of the Assistant Controller to maintain proper financial reports, records and business transactions.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & CONTACTS:
Assist in month end and yearend financial review, reconciliation, and preparation as directed by assistant controller 20
Supports account payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry 20
Performs monthly bank, credit card, expense report and per diem reconciliations 20
Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts. Provides detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions 20
Prepares accounting related entries to numerous registers, journal and logs 10
Prepares documentation to external auditors 10
Adheres to Company Code of Conduct and follows other duties as assigned At all times
Enter bi weekly payroll
Process and Reconcile Sales and Use Tax along with property tax renditions
Ability to organize and complete Internal Audits Quarterly
Ability to lead project
Manage the HSBC credit cards processing and Concur expense report process

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Bachelor Degree preferably in Accounting
3 to 5 yrs of experience
Strong coding, data entry and 10 key usage experience
Exceptional phone etiquette and ability to field internal and external financial questions
Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
QuickBooks, Peachtree, NetSuite or other accounting software preferred but not required
Detail oriented, self-motivated and reliable
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with both internal and external contacts
Ability to follow work schedule
Ability to multi-task, take direction and work with minimal supervision
Good organizational skills
Maintain a high level of integrity
Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
Experience in oil and gas field environment preferred but not required
