Position Description

As a member of the Reservations Team, the Reservations Agent reports to and assists the Reservations Manager in achieving the Company’s goals. The primary focus of this position is to handle all telephone inquiries and requests accurately and efficiently by answering the telephones courteously, promptly, and professionally while promoting resort services and ensuring maximum resort revenues. This will be a part-time position with the potential to become full-time, initially working a maximum of 30 hours per week or as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Field incoming web chats and phone calls
  • Guide incoming callers through the reservation process
  • Up-sell the properties with sales scripts and in-depth resort knowledge
  • Meet and/or exceed targeted call ratios, occupancy goals, and revenue creation on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Maximize sales by extending the stays of customers, up-selling to premier site types, reserving future bookings, and selling cottage/villa vacations
  • Assist with administrative duties as they relate to booking, tracking, charging, handling, and inputting reservations
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associates Degree or Higher Preferred
  • Must be able to read and write in English fluently
  • Bi-lingual, a plus
  • Must have a flexible schedule, available on weekends and holidays
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hospitality, customer service, administrative, OR call center experience
  • RV Industry or hotel front desk experience, a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and basic math skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, with ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience using reservation software, a plus
