Position Description
Position Title: Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach
Status: Temporary
Reports to: Director of Athletics
Job Summary Beacon Academy, a Montessori-based, IB high school in Evanston, IL, seeks an experienced Varsity Girls Volleyball coach for the 2024 Fall Season. Regular season practices take place weekday afternoons in Evanston from 5-6:30. Games take place on weekdays between 4-7.
The season runs August 12th -Nov 6th. This is a Varsity position with a competitive stipend of $6000.00.
Qualifications
- Strong background in coaching and mentoring student-athletes
- Knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Previous experience in organizing and managing sports events
- Certification in coaching or a relevant field is a plus
