Be a part of an innovative cloud-based technical architecture team to apply cutting edge cloud technologies to create and evolve highly visible data analytics platform solutions to support some of Department of Defense (DoD)’s toughest data analytics challenges.
The CACI Team is looking for a mid/senior Cloud Engineer with technical expertise to “harness the power of the cloud,” and free up time to do what you do best – innovate. As a Cloud Engineer, leadership and skill development opportunities abound as you collaborate with technical and other teams to build a cloud-based architecture across all networks that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.
What You'll Get To Do:
Leads efforts to incorporate open-source tools, automation, cloud resources, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) to cut down on tedious, boring tasks.
Informs strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud evolution process.
Drives success by recommending tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and their knowledge of various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources.
Helps clients overcome their most difficult challenges and continuously broadening expertise in areas like agile development, cloud-based development, containerization and serverless.
Provides data analytics capabilities that will improve national security.
Identifies new opportunities to build state-of-the-art data analytics and immutable architectures.
Works without considerable direction and may mentor and supervise team members.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
5-8 years of direct experience with building computer architectures in the cloud environment
Experience with developing and deploying applications in the cloud
Experience with Serverless, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM
Experience with securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers
Experience with application management and providing high availability and resilient solutions using methods, including clustering or failover
Experience with scripting in scripting languages that include Python and Ruby
Experience with an Agile release methodology
TS / SCI with CI Poly security clearance
BA or BS degree +5 years’ experience
Solid background developing solutions for high volume, low latency applications and can operate in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
Ability to be independent, creative and challenged
Possesses a curious mind, passionate about solving problems quickly and bringing innovative ideas to the table
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience with data analytics, big data, and cloud-native technologies
Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring
Knowledge of information assurance compliance to specified standards
MA or MS degree + 3 years’ experience
Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
