Concord Academy Athletic Trainer Job Description
Objective:
- To assume the responsibility and obligation of maintaining all middle school and high school sports in the school athletic program.
- To provide athletic injury management for all middle school and high school athletes and assist coaches in injury prevention.
Position Summary:
- Organize and coordinate the daily Athletic Trainer functions with the Athletic Director and coaches.
- Review student physicals and releases to ensure authenticity and keep forms on file.
- Is expected to meet the school’s professional, communication, and documentation standards and to make decisions based on the NATA guidelines.
Minimum Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- NATABOC certification
- This position is supervised by the high school Athletic Director. This could be a full or part time position. The rate of pay and hours will be set by the Athletic Director and the Head of School.
