Job Description:
Seeking a highly self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing IT Infrastructure

Group. Overall responsibility for the architecture, design, development, security, performance and support of software deployment lifecycle. Individuals can be:

Developers who, in the course of their career, become interested in deployment and network operations.System admins who develop the passion for scripting and coding, and want to move in that direction.

Responsibilities:
Must have a passion for improving process, eliminating waste in workflows and enjoy the technical challenges in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Provides direction, communication and coordination between the infrastructure support team and the applications development team(s) in their continuous deployment activities. The DevOps Engineer ensures that developers are never doing repetitive tasks and that the infrastructure is kept up to date as the stack evolves. As processes change and the company grows, the DevOps Engineer automates as much as possible to accelerate work. Because of DevOps, developers can focus on their core work so doTERRA can deliver products earlier and more reliably.

Qualifications:
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration (shell scripts)
Strong experience with automation/configuration management tools (Jenkins, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Ansible or an equivalent)
Experience using SolarWinds, AppDynamics and Splunk is highly desirable
Fluency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby or equivalent)
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
Experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
Integration of Git, Junit Testing and Selenium in continuous deployment
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Strong in the use of continuous integration and delivery processes and tools
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
General web development background preferred (Java/J2EE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Spring)
2+ years’ experience in the use of Maven, Ant or Gradle
Prefer history of working in an e-commerce, scale-up, and fast-paced environment
Experience deploying / supporting international sites a big plus
Experience with application source code analysis via a quality gateway in the build process (i.e. SonarQube)
