Grossman Furniture is looking to hire additional salespeople and designers who are as unique and special as our store. We want to add to our already amazing staff with people who are sincere, hard working and enjoy working as a team. We think outside box and want you to as well!

We sell over 200 brands - there is never a shortage of styles to sell from both the floor and catalog library. We encourage our staff and designers to make house calls - the expenses are reimbursed and this provides for bigger sales that make for great bigger commissions. If you enjoy working with people, helping them to create a unique furniture lifestyle for each individual customer - this job is for you. The MUST is... you need to be friendly, creative, hardworking and team oriented.We will also gladly train the right candidates about furniture if they have at least 2 years of non-furniture sales experience.

Great hours: Weekends are a must (Saturday 9:30-5:30 and Sunday 12-5) but we are open only one evening a week and are closed on major holidays.Come join the best staff in the industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers in a warm and timely manner-start the relationship right!
  • Assist customers with home furnishings selections including room layouts, fabric & style combinations, and the extra touches to make their room special such as areas rugs, lamps, tables and accessories.
  • Preparing complete, accurate and timely paperwork of customer orders.
  • Assist buyers with purchasing, merchandising and visual display.
  • Follow up with all customers using thank you letters, personal notes and phone calls before, during and after the sale.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years sales experience dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to actively work a retail floor with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
