Southridge Builders is a local home building and renovation firm in need of an Apprentice Carpenter. This position requires attention to details, pride in workmanship, excellent communication and organizational skills. This person must be able to work well independently or in a team environment. They MUST be reliable.
Work on site with us on a variety of jobs, from small renovations to building custom homes.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Arrive to jobsite on time.
- Take directions well and follow instructions given by project manager
- Excellent hand/eye coordination
- Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
- Communicate with project manager daily about progress
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Stellar work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
- Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, and powered nail gun
- Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
- Valid drivers license and preferably the ability to pull and maneuver a 20' trailer
