Administrative Assistant - Director

The Administrative Assistant will perform advanced, diversified and confidential executive-level duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Performs full administrative duties in support of the Senior Director. Coordinate with Customer Care the daily creation of the Systems, Applications and Process Report (SAP Report). Partner with Customer Care regarding identification, responsible parties, decision making and escalations. Handle the General Liability claims process to include training, updates, chargebacks and escalations and routinely meeting with Risk Management and Sedgwick examiners to review any issues. Provide various levels of support and assistance to Home Depot Legal team to include managing lawsuits, subpoenas and how we respond. State License Board Complaints Manage, respond and ensure proper handling.

60% Support Senior Director of Operations by making domestic/international travel arrangements for Sr. Director and other members of organization, scheduling/coordinating meetings & conferences, control calendars, collect/compile/analyze data and prepare reports, research, other special projects assigned by Sr. Director.
15% Partner with Customer Care to ensure customers are contacted and the field is responsive; discuss/implement plans for resolution of complex Customer Care issues (review notes/prior history, recommend resolution after conferring with field leadership; escalate issue when necessary to sr leadership); build/distribute reporting.
15% Partner with Risk Management on GL claims review; review claims with field leadership to determine company's position on desired resolution and makes recommendations based on previous outcomes; update LMS on claim outcomes; train field on claim filing process; coordinate/develop file claim filing process/procedures.
5% Manage intake of lawsuits/subpoenas; partner with Legal department to ensure necessary information is obtained and response is afforded; process/review Settlement and Release Agreements as requested by the field.
5% On-point for state licensing board complaints; respond to agencies on behalf of company; ensure proper managing of complaint; escalate where necessary.

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 4 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong skills in Microsoft Office- Especially PowerPoint.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
PC skills, knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Organization and time management skills with strong ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
