HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
An HR Administrative Assistant is a skilled, intelligent and effective, individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Assisting in the day to day operations as it relates to employee relations, training, development benefits and organization development
This position requires a BBA in Human Resources Management work as an HR administrator role for min of 4 years.
Supports human resources department by : participating in the recruitment process, time, labor and payroll process; orientation of new employees; administering employee benefit programs, liaison to unemployment claims, workman’s comp and other Federal , State and city agencies ,
Establishes and maintains employee files, records, incidents, accidents, progress, certifications and related. Ensures legal compliance by following HR protocols and by supporting and creating a diverse safe work environment
Intelligence Knowledge and expertise in Human Resources functions
Organization of task, thoughts and ability to prioritize and re priorities
Communication: to be able to speak groups with confidence, clearly and effectively at all levels of the operation.
Effective work relationships with RDS team members: to encourage and support where needed; resolve conflict, to promote to suspend and terminate. Finding the balance between friendly and taking control
Energy; both mental and physical. The work day gets long and tedious, it is important to make your energy contagious, you will need to dispense a lot of it every day
Critical Thinker and Evaluator: work in and out of the “Grey” not all situations will be black and white
Articulate in thought and in writing; documentation is a large part of the process
Metric and report oriented: Both are used to improve the processes and to achieve goals of department.
BBA in Human Resource Management or 4 years working in the Human Resource field Software : Kronos Workforce Ready , Microsoft Excel , Word , Outlook, Maximizer CMS
