Job Title: Deli Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced deli environment. As a Deli Associate, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, operate cash registers, and uphold the highest level of food safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting deli products
- Prepare and package a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and meats
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Upsell products to customers to increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Follow recipes and guidelines for food preparation
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or culinary environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Proficiency in operating POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
