Purpose of Job:
Responsible for general accounting and inventory related accounting activities.
Job Duties:

Reviews, analyzes,and verifies accuracy of inventory standard costs and variances

Assists with period closing and production of financial statements to guarantee accurate and timely reporting.

Performs all tasks associated with the general ledger, i.e., enters period journal entries, executes period closing entries, executes period-end general ledger (by cost center and by natural account).

Completes balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis.

Prepares state sales and use tax reports.

Assists with providing data to internal and external auditors, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of general accounting experience.

Associates Degree in Accounting or related business field preferred.

Able to prioritize tasks.

Must be able to use independent judgement.

Able to analyze large amounts of data.

Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization both internal and external to the department.

Ability to work with financial systems.
-
Detail oriented.
-
Have a very high level of accuracy and self-motivated.
