We’re looking for a Systems Administrator with a solid background in installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, triage, and hardening in database management and windows system administration to help us provide infrastructure support for continuing uninterrupted record information management in the intelligence community.
As a Systems Administrator on our project, you’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide your customers insight into their systems through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical environment. You’ll help your team better understand the system by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like Microsoft SharePoint Administrator, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process per industry best practices, records management tools, including HighView or CADRE or HPE Records Manager, Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, data migration, and SQL. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the systems to help your customers meet their needs. 5 years of experience in an IT-focused position, including as an IT Analyst or Database Manager
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and SharePoint
Experience with conducting training classes
Experience with technical writing, including writing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Security Plans (SSPs), and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with intelligence community systems
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Administrator
Knowledge of SDLC process per industry best practices
Knowledge of records management tools, including HighView or CADRE or HPE Records Manager, and records and information management
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement, data migration, SQL, and software implementation
Knowledge of records management life cycle
BA or BS degree in CS or IT preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
