The Wellness and Sustainability Support Manager works with the National Director of Wellness & Sustainability and the Director of Wellness & Sustainability Programs to coordinate and support corporate wellness + sustainability (W+S) initiatives provided to hospital partners and to provide education, training, communication, research support and guidance in Morrison healthcare operations.
This opportunity is based out of our national headquarters in Atlanta, GA with a remote office location. Geographical coverage is required for a) Western accounts and b) Eastern accounts; however, if the team dynamics allow, territories can be based on national divisions, as needed. Travel up to 75-90% of the time required.
Wellness & Sustainability Support for Hospital Clients.
Coordinates & directs company foodservice initiatives to align with corporate and client wellness + sustainability programs
Promotes and implements company wellness + sustainability platform, healthy menus, healthy eating programs and reporting initiatives- tracks, monitors and measures all identified outcomes
Reports on health and wellness best practices and directives
Serves as a liaison between leadership throughout all organizations
Coordinates & participates in development of corporate wellness + sustainability programs targeted at improving eating behaviors, environmental health and improved Population Health Management for our own associates and the communities we serve
Identifies and promotes company corporate wellbeing and environmental health challenges, promotions and marketing opportunities that align with the company and client’s wellness strategy
Trains, educates & communicates to staff and leadership on company corporate wellness + sustainability initiatives as directed, including development of Registered Dietitians
Interacts & communicates all wellness and sustainability trends, programs and initiatives to the National Director of Wellness & Sustainability
Presents wellness-specific initiatives for eligible sales presentations and client meetings
Conducts onsite regulatory audits and executes wellness/sustainability audits
Research and Evidence-Based Strategy.
Incorporates current evidence-based research into practice;
Participates in client-driven research studies on wellness and healthy eating behaviors;
Registered Dietitian (R.D), as certified through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, preferred.
State licensure/certification required where applicable.
Professional Culinary Certification (ACF, CIA, WCI, CCP or similar) or equivalent training is desirable in addition to nutrition training, but not a requirement.
Master’s degree, preferred.
Five (5) years general Dietitian/Nutritional work with related experience in college and business environments required.
General Hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
Ability to travel to sites as assigned (up to 75-90% of time) required.
Requires strong public speaking skills and ability to plan and deliver audience-appropriate presentations for guests, clients, internal teams, and/or potential clients.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, nutrient analysis software and social media.
