What will you do?
The Area Finance Manager is responsible for leading a team of Regional Finance Managers (RFMs) while partnering with the Stryker salesforce to identify and solve financing and acquisition concerns for our customers. Your area will consist of half the US, and you will be responsible for generating approximately $250M in originations generated by 5-6 RFMs. While not all encompassing, this role’s primary activities can be grouped into three main areas:
Utilize your sales experience and strengths to originate transactions by leveraging standard and complex financing tools and structures
Chart the course by defining and executing the best financing strategies
Articulate a compelling sales opportunity based on the customer’s motivation
Partner with local sales leadership during consultations with customers to assess needs
Ensure outstanding customer experience throughout entire sales lifecycle
Be a subject matter expert through knowledge of market data
Contribute to marketing efforts and positively promote Stryker’s brand
Manage & Develop Talent
Utilize your strength and passion for leadership to manage an experienced group of equipment finance professionals.
Effectively manage and develop talent to build the most successful team possible
Build out and ensure team’s quota attainment through clear goals, strategies and plans
Enhance territory development to ensure strong penetration in all markets
Act as a character leader and positive influence within the Flex organization
Create, build, and execute on Stryker’s IDN and ASC financing strategy
Identify market trends, tools, technologies and share best practices
Support internal projects, embrace change and help improve the overall sales function and Flex organization

What you need?
Minimum 10 years of equipment leasing and finance sales in vendor and/or direct channel
Previous track record of successful management or leadership experience
Preferred candidates will have a mix of sales and finance experience

Travel Percentage: Up to 50%
