POSITION OVERVIEW –
Lead and deploy core aspects of the company's email campaigns for prospects, current clients and re-activations. Working alongside a team of seasoned marketers, develop the email communication strategy, program management and its execution. The ideal candidate has utilized Marketo to its fullest potential and will help the Jenny Craig email team leverage the platform to its maximum capability. This role will enable our marketing team to efficiently deliver the most relevant content to the right audience.
Daily management and coordination of all email marketing material production. Responsible for subject line and creative optimizations, recommendations, and performance monitoring.
Responsible for scheduling email deployments, selecting appropriate audience, ensuring accurate tracking tags.
Responsible for Quality assurance of all email creatives including copy, claims and offer disclaimers.
Contribute towards development of email marketing assets including copy, graphics, tracking tags, landing pages, and planning of email calendar.
Lead Brand and Legal review to ensure all messaging is consistent and meets all legal and brand standards.
Manage and maintain the CRM Marketo database for data integration, data hygiene, segmentation, and list management.
Contribute towards email calendar strategy and make recommendations to email cadence and planning.
Analyze and assess weekly campaign performance, including a/b testing and segmentation.
Ensure use of best practices and compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN/SPAM), and deliverability.
Perform quality assurance and testing on required functionality and ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Experience with email personalization and dynamic content insertion. Experience with Marketo tokens.
Strong knowledge of large-scale, marketing automation software (from front-end to back-end) and HTML
Highly proficient with Excel reporting. Ability to contribute towards the Membership/CRM team’s reporting, data management and insights analysis.

Bachelor’s degree required. Emphasis in Marketing or related field.
2+ years email and marketing experience required
Strong Email Automation platform experience required
Marketo platform experience a plus
Basic marketing principles, including online marketing
HTML experience a plus
Test emails and debug layout issues cross browser/platform
