Come and join the Process Integration and Control Systems team!
As an Intern, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provide Factory Automation support to the Intel factories in Arizona as well as other locations.
Install, configure and support client computing systems with control software for factory tools and processes.
In some cases, based on your experience and skills, you may be part of the teams collecting requirements from partners and designing/building 3-tier applications, with database back-end and middle-tier systems.
These IT projects are expected to last from 3 to 9 months, and can be aligned to your course schedule and University rules. Projects will involve coaching and mentoring from senior IT/Automation engineers.
The Student Interns will be given classroom-type or web-based training on computing systems configuration and support.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or any other related engineering field.

Background in IT support, web application development, database design and software development life-cycle.
Knowledge of Windows OS and software application installation/configuration.
Microsoft Office skills technical documentation exposure, and some level of knowledge of project management is advantageous.
Experience in VB.Net, Java, C#, C, C++ and PERL programming is preferred.
