Loyal Source Government Services is looking for a Neurology/TBI Lead to work at our various clinic locations in support of the VA Regional Offices nationwide.
Job Summary:
Skilled experienced professional and/or technical expertise are essential for successful implementation of additional competencies to be performed in Loyal Healthcare clinics, Independent Examiner Network locations and via the use of telehealth, in support of the VA Medical Disability Examination Program. These services may be performed by Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the appropriate field under a contractual agreement to perform these evaluations and implementation of services. This position can be remote and will require some travel to Loyal Healthcare clinics and Independent Examiner locations. The position will report to the Chief Medical Officer of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic level oversight of the implementation of LSGS / Loyal Healthcare Neurology/TBI Program.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for Loyal Healthcare clinics and telehealth capability for the implementation of Neurology/TBI services.
- Review and establish standard equipment, diagnostic, and device orders for the delivery of Neurology/TBI services in Loyal Healthcare Clinics with approval through LSGS standard approval processes.
- Serve as Neurology/TBI Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LSGS to inform system and process development and enhancement.
- In coordination with the LSGS Behavioral Health Lead, train, coach, mentor, and support all examiners providing Neurology/TBI services across the LSGS / Loyal Healthcare network.
- Assist the Medical Director, Examiner Support Team(s), and Quality Team with evaluation of Neurology/TBI program productivity and quality outcomes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to completing VA disability examinations.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
The Neurology/TBI Lead is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their specialty and responsible for providing leadership, guidance, oversight, and quality assurance of establishing Neurology/TBI related services relevant to the VA MDE Program in Loyal Healthcare Clinics, telehealth and Independent Examiner Network locations.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Licensed Neurologist or Neurosurgeon, Doctoral level.
