Responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, maintenance, and calibration and basic repairs of respiratory
care equipment. Maintains clean, neat, and appropriately stocked equipment areas. Responsible for medical gas storage area and dispersion and exchange of medical gas cylinders throughout facility.
Cleans, sterilizes, maintains and calibrates respiratory care equipment.
Maintains clean, neat, and appropriately stocked equipment areas.
Utilizes equipment and supplies in a cost-effective manner.
Performs basic equipment repairs and assists with preventive maintenance.
Maintains medical gas storage room monthly ensuring that room is free of
trash and debris
Exchanges medical gas cylinders as needed throughout facility.
Assists with Medical Gas shutdowns as needed.
Orders supplies as needed to maintain par levels.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospital/health care setting
Open to on the job training
