The Underground Cheesecake Co. is looking for some delivery help in our growing wholesale operation.
Our cheesecake delivery van driver works Monday through Thursday. Their day starts around 6:00am and they deliver to 3-4 stores per day. Depending on the route, a delivery driver's day could end anywhere between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. The job is to transport our cheesecake bundles of joy to grocery stores across Michigan - restocking displays and checking in with store staff.
Weekly Overnight Trip: Once per week our delivery driver does and overnight trip to one of our downstate markets. An overnight is where we book our driver a hotel room downstate (usually the Ann Arbor or Battle Creek area). They finish their regular route, then head to their hotel to relax for the night. The next morning they deliver to 4-5 stores on their way back up North.
The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people but is trying to avoid the stress of a traditional retail role. Since you’ll be the only person in the van, you can crank your music or catch up on your podcasts between stores.
