Our Corporate Strategy and Customer Insights (CSCI) team is the hub of harvesting and analyzing data to drive strategic, customer-centric business decisions for our brands. By collaborating with partners across a broad variety of business functions, associates on our CSCI team provide recommendations that allow our teams to push boundaries and stay at the forefront of retail trends.
The Customer Researcher will play a critical role in one of our brand's Customer Research program as well as execute discrete research projects to inform all aspects of each brand. This position will be instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to drive the growth of the business.
What will you be doing?
Be the in-house customer insights expert
Inform brand business actions based on customer insights culled from primary and secondary research
Establish, recruit and manage the brand’s customer research community
Project manage research initiatives inclusive of writing briefs, designing methodologies, fielding/moderating and synthesizing actions/recommendations
Partner with Customer Analytics teams to derive and articulate actionable business recommendations
Facilitate discussion sessions with brand stakeholders
Support broader Customer Research team via ad hoc assignments
What will you need to bring?
BA/BS in a psychology, sociology, marketing, economics or other research-related major
3-4 years experience in a customer/marketing research role. Retail, apparel or consumer goods experience is a plus
Whole brain thinker- comfortable with both data analysis (survey platforms, light stats) and conversational research (focus groups, shop-alongs)
Self-starter and independent
Able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with a variety of cross-functional partners from various levels within the company
Excellent communication skills and strong project management capabilities
Creative approach to problem-solving with a humble, team-oriented and optimistic attitude
Entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to handle significant responsibility
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel –domestic travel will be a requirement of this role
