Zynga is looking for an experienced people leader to fill out our HR Business Partner Team. This person will support our Publishing (Marketing/Sales) and G&A organization. This person will combine business leadership and acumen as well as people, organizational, development and performance chops.
The new leader will help to drive business performance, create a compelling future, inspire and develop talent while shaping the culture at Zynga. You have been successful supporting sr. executives and their teams and balancing leadership styles to influence results.
You are not a transactional HR leader or a YES Man or Woman. You impact people decisions with facts. You have a point of view, can influence credibly based on experience, depth of insight into individual talent and teams, data orientation and analytic capabilities.
You love to “do the right thing” for the employee experience and the business. You know when you have influence and when you have authority to take action.
No HR Police allowed. Yes we have guidelines, policies, structure, process and… you will still need to problem solve, be creative and get to the right answer if the guideline, past practice, doesn’t support certain business needs.

You have phenomenal business acumen, and if new to the games industry, a deep intellectual, commercial, design curiosity of what makes our industry so dynamic.

What You’ll Do
You will work collaboratively as a partner with team members in recruiting, operations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning and analytics, compensation, recruiting and in other business partner roles. While you are on the front line and use much of their tools, strategy, programs…you are partners and not a client/service model.
You will leverage deep understanding of business needs and programs to partner with People Team peers (Finance, Legal, WPS, IT..etc) to deliver cohesive partner team support across…onboarding, M&A, compliance, workforce planning
You will lead organizational design efforts for business, ensuring the organization is able to take advantage of a streamlined operating model, and accelerate its strategic agenda
You’ll Initiate and leads change management activities, develop and sustain the organization’s capacity for change and support workforce transformation efforts
You’ll research best practices and provides strategic recommendations based on data analysis and incorporation of metrics to measure outcomes.
Ensure the consistent application of HR policies, processes and systems within the groups they support.
Define and orchestrate an effective and strong organization by helping organizations focus on their key capabilities.
Drive talent review processes and succession planning as key strategic lever for meeting the business’ priorities.
